Welcome to the 40th Anniversary of CHILLIFEST 2025
The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce invites you all to CHILLIFEST with us at the
40th Annual Chillifest on
Saturday, Oct. 4th & Sunday, Oct. 5th!
We're kicking off Chillifest 2025 in the traditional way and welcoming back the Chillifest OGs from the early years of this magnificent event!
Welcoming remarks & opening ceremony will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, October 4th on the main stage with the Colors presented by Boy Scouts Troop 132 and the National Anthem sang by THS Choir. We will pass the mic and hear from Mayor Bruce Barry, Christian County Board Chairman Bryan Sharp, Chillifest Founding Members Don Marsango & Bob Hall, Chilli Daddy Tom Calvert, Mike Specha, Bob Stiner, Bob Appleton, Ghost Pepper Sponsor Sparklight, & the 2025 Chillifest Committee joined by The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Board & Ambassadors.
Then the festivities will commence and we look forward to a spectacular event with many, many fond memories made by ALL!
There is so much to do at Chillifest, like...
Cooking Chili at one of the TWO ICS Chili Cookoff events
Chili judging at the ICS Sanctioned Chili Cookoff...help someone make it to Worlds!
Reunions with friends and family while enjoying any of the MANY entertainment performances
Not 1, not 2, but 3 PAGEANTS...need we say more!
Play dates for the kiddos at KidZone
Lunch and/or dinner at the Chillitent (our Chilli is gluten free and is a proprietary recipe made at Chillifest during Chillifest with locally sources beef)
Shopping for upcoming events and holidays or just because you want to at the UNIQUE & DIVERSE vendors all around the event grounds and of course plan to visit all of the shops around the Historic Taylorville Square and throughout Taylorville.
Fun selfie & Photo ops throughout the event including a handmade Chillifest through the years Quilt hanging made by two local artisans
