5: Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce "Golf Outing". Check in 11am, Shotgun start 12:30pm at Taylorville Lake Shore Golf Course.

5-7: 4th Annual Taylorville Black Horse Powwow Dedicated to "Chief Red Cloud" C. C. Fairgrounds. Gates open from 10am to 9pm. Dancing starts at 12pm each day.

6: "Art on the Square" from 10am till 5pm. Set-up begins at 6:30am. Presented by Taylorville Area Arts Council.

13: Dog Daze-Dog Show and Training. Demos and live music on the square in conjunction with the Farmer's Market.
